A surprisingly new adventure, akin to the first in series, but totally different. A mysterious read, without complication or distraction. A good and thrilling read, with a bonus that's certain to make young readers laugh. As James embarks another time traveling adventure, he's sent to another place in time, an earlier time as a teenage American Indian boy named Bo. The story is full of excitement allowing the reader to breeze through with anticipation and want of knowing where this situation of time travel is going and how it's going to end. Having read book one in series, White Buffalo answers a few outstanding, mind-puzzling cliffhangers from the first and builds to another slight one leaving readers to crave book three. The relationship between Bo and Wisdom is heartwarming as it's similar to the bond humans have with their pets, even if this pet is extremely large. Readers will be more attached to the character of Bo as he takes them on a surprising and meaningful journey.
